My name is Rhonda. I started writing, singing and recording an original song everyday in 2011. When I started I couldn't really play any of the instruments and I had just started teaching myself to use the recording equipment. I hoped that daily songs would force me to practise and I've improved, but still have a long way to go.
The viable songs will need to be finished and remixed to broadcast quality. I estimate I should have about 250 to 300 viable songs from this project. The scope and variety of songs in this project are so vast...lots of people don't understand what I'm doing. Right now, I'm just putting them in...building and copyrighting an original catalogue while expanding my skills in instrumentation and sound design and at the same time... nurturing a growing fan-base of people like you...people who care just as much about what a song has to say as how well it's engineered...someday I will have a catalogue with thousands of well-crafted songs that I shall record in several languages...each of those songs will be polished to a 'la dee dah'... but I don't plan to lose the original vibe that makes each of these songs uniquely mine. When and if I find success in music, I ask that you don't begrudge me anything...because I'm working hard and steadily towards improving my skills and expanding my music catalogue while dealing with the everyday struggle of day to day survival...just like everybody else. Today it's just me...singing all the parts... playing all the instruments and recording it myself...in just one single day...then I move on to the next one. A couple songs on my homepage have Dan Barry (Iman) and the LovesScandal Band (Hustle, You are Missed and Don't take yourself away) helping on instrumentation... I'm starting to upgrade as I can. Early in the year, a well-established Indie label offered to launch my debut but that offer has been upgraded to pitching me to a major label for a collaborative launch. This would mean proper production and publicity. I'm crafting the book and working steadily on the project. I hope you wish me well and the best of luck...
